A learning curve

Hello everyone & welcome back to Pink Lemons!  I am so excited to be back on the road to writing again.  The past two couple of years have been tough.

Our family went through the loss of my dear Mom two years ago.  I feel her around me everyday, and i know she is guiding me.  Bless you Mom.

I'm enjoying my job and the people contact i have, but after almost 13 years of working and longer in the customer service industry, i have a big passion to develop programs to help men & women step into their personal power.

I have always been inspired by so many things, especially books!  A missionary came to speak at my church 3 years ago, and i was just attending mass with no plans to attend, due to being overwhelmed.  I realized i will always be busy and his teaching encouraged me to put my faith into action and be more present for others!

Lately money has been getting me down and materialism.  I have given away books, etc and am getting into the kitchen more to make homemade lunches.  Spending sprees and courses can only last so long before they need to be launched into action!  Don't get me wrong, i love learning, it will always be a part of my life.  Its just for me books, courses, the coffeepot and Netflix are no longer my best friends.

Taking flamenco, bellydance, aromatherapy training & learning more about plants & herbs and Spanish classes have been some of the best things i ever did for my self-esteem.  Getting out & meeting new people and going on healing walks, along with coffee out by myself & the occasional spa treatment are wonderful!  Also after coming home from Mary Kay meetings at night with not much open to eat at, i have also discovered the joy of an inexpensive & delicious simple meal at Browns:  Thai Coconut Curry Soup, Garlic Bread & decaf coffee.

I've been in Mary Kay almost 14 years and i want to help women by pampering them with simple skin care & color looks.  I have felt so empowered to help women, a new look is the best!

I work with It Works too, a global company that sells a wonderful green powder filled with superfoods & antioxidants to detox & energize the body.  I feel very happy to be part of an organization helping others to eat better & care for ourselves while helping others!

For me i have procrastinated way too long in moving forward in business & in life.  I have felt almost ready for a relationship, but my health & business are important to feel independent first.

The world is a tough spot to be in right now, and empowering others is so important!  I am new to coming back to my blog but in the coming weeks look for a free video offering from me, a 3 day challenge on Turning the Sour Situations in Life Sweet with 2 recipes included for Pink Lemonade & Candied Citrus Zest!

Please also head to my Facebook page Pink Lemons for updates to my blog.  You can find the link to my Mary Kay page at Karen's MK Beauty Resource on Facebook as well.

Info on my It Works greens can be found on my Facebook page: Karen Cherniak as i post there daily.

I would love to have you join my Facebook group:  Portal to the Heart of the Wild Rose and for more upcoming YouTube videos soon.

I am so excited to be back and bringing new programs & serving you!

Love Karen :)
